Coca-Cola is often a cause of terrible carpet stains, but you can remove these types of stains from even white carpets with the right treatments. Here are some steps to follow for removing tough Coca-Cola and other colored drink stains:

  1. First, gently blot the stain with a dry white towel (or kitchen roll). Never rub the stain as this can make it more difficult to remove and could lead to saturation of the carpet.
  2. With a mixture of white vinegar, dish soap, and water in a spray bottle you can get the job done. Use 1/4 cup of white vinegar, 1 tbsp. of Dawn dish soap to fill with water for this solution that will soak into stains before blotting up excess liquid from fabric until the stain is removed completely .
  3. Some carpet stain removal products are great for combating many types of stains. These include Bissell Carpet Cleaning Formulas, Resolve and OxiClean . If the stain is stubborn, use these as directed then repeat with spritzes until gone. (Test a small area first to ensure there’s no reaction.)

Coffee stains are pretty noticeable and can make your carpet look terrible if not treated. They are common in both the home and the workplace. Here’s what you should do to remove the coffee stain:

  1. Dry the spot by blotting it with a dry white towel. Make sure you are not spreading the stain even more if there is a substantial spillage, and use different cloths as they become saturated with beverage until all of the liquid has been absorbed from your carpet or other surfaces.
  2. If the first mixture of vinegar, water, and gentle detergent doesn’t clean your windows well enough, you can repeat it with a spritzer. You could also try another method such as using a squeegee or microfiber cloth instead of doing it by hand.
  3. When you have a carpet stain, there are products that can help remove the stains from your home. It is best to do a patch test first and wear gloves as it could be harmful to the skin if not used properly. These specific cleaners work well in such stores as Asda or Morrisons, so keep this in mind when purchasing these items for future use!
  4. In order to effectively remove a carpet stain, such as polypropylene carpets that respond safely to water and bleach spray treatment, prepare 1/4 cup of bleach with 1 cup of water in a spray bottle. Soak the mixture onto the stained area on your carpet until it disappears then blot away excess liquid from the surface before rinsing with warm water once more. Repeat this process if necessary for best results.
